‘MAMU’- A simple little real tale of life!

When someone gave me an entangled yarn to unwind!

I found my hands getting muddled up in-between!!

I couldn’t stand up that puzzled state and finally gave-up!

Of the reason that I had to leave as time was my constraint!!

At once, I left that bundle of confusion with countless knots!

But here I was now in my own state of confusion, the life!!

I was seeing so many knotted yarns in front of my eyes!

Not of thread but relationships, in fact…Just how can I ever solve them?

The yarns of life, of emotions, of relationships I behold!

In reality, most of them look nothing like once they were!!

Not me but even all of us I believe will ever be able to solve these ‘yarns of life’

The time will pass away and all of them will remain stories untold!! Well, most of them!

“We all have to deal with puzzles in our lives, ones that would not solve that easily because we do not have that missing part or may be with time we lose the zest to solve the puzzle itself!”

This is a story about one of the most precious and a memorable relationship that I had in my life. It is a story about my Mamu/uncle (mother’s brother) named Aamod. I never had an idea that one day I would be writing about him but the way my relationship was with him is the biggest impact even today in my life. I need to share this story!

Mamu was one of the coolest person that could ever be met. He was a motor mechanic and used to repair motor machines, most of them being the machines used to make butter (they were known as ‘Goltu’ in native language of Kotgarh, Himachal Pradesh- the place where Mamu lived). I would not like to hide this fact that his talent was not limited to butter-making machines.

Once, as I can recall he took me in a utility vehicle and collected three damaged motorcycles from their respective owners living in nearby villages. He opened out all of those machines, each and every screw and part of them. By evening, I was getting this feeling that Mamu has probably gone mad. The very next morning, I woke up with a sound of a motorbike. I hurriedly got out from my bed and saw Mamu accelerating an all new motorcycle!

So being with Mamu was fun and a lot of scolding as well because I was the kind of person who never understood technical aspects of objects. I was more prone to like art, plants and animals. Still, Mamu used to make me work as an assistant for him and I loved it whenever I visited my grandparents’ during my winter breaks (I used to have winter breaks in my school as it was the time when the landscapes used to get covered with lovely white shining snow all across Himalayas, Shivaliks to be more precise). So I used to have many memorable winters along with my grandma, grandpa and especially Aamod Mamu.

During one of the winters it snowed too heavily and as a gift Mamu built a wooden snow sledge for me. I enjoyed too much with that one little gift and surfaced snow terrains like a surfer on ocean waves though I had quite a few falls and a dozen of wounds. At the end, I was just thanking Mamu with all my heart.

Aamod Mamu also used to take me along for hunting expeditions where we used to search out for Himalayan Snowcock (It is one of the finest bird to see which people like to hunt in Himalayas though the practice had now been banned and stated as illegal). Mamu’s hunting object used to be his air-rifle and he actually hunted a whole lot of those snowcocks. As I used to be a vegetarian at that point of time in my life, I never enjoyed hunting Snowcocks and seeing Mamu make them his dinner dishes and fondly eat them along with his friends. The only reason of joy for me on such hunting travels was that used to get an opportunity to explore alpine forests which fascinate me till today. Even today I have clear pictures of ferocious animals like wolves, brown bear, leopard and other small animals we got to see during our alpine expeditions.

Altogether, Mamu was a magical person to me who always had a new thing or a new activity to display. Though that was not all that Mamu was. He had Leucoderma (The most common form is non-segmental vitiligo, which tends to appear in symmetric patches, sometimes over large areas of the body). Well, for people who loved him for what he was, his condition was normal but he himself lived with a great agony. I knew him as a shorty fellow with handsome features and the mix of white and tan color of his body was something special for me. Though Mamu never frankly discussed how he felt but I know he used to feel conscious about his looks.

Anyhow, there was one thing about Mamu which actually bothered everyone. Many a times, he would lose his temper and remain in hallucination because of the alcohol and drugs he used to consume. As I grew up, seldom I got the chance to have a conversation with him. After completing my matriculation, I moved out from my village to Chandigarh, in order to pursue my further education. Soon my meetings with Mamu went too little.

I can clearly remember… how can’t I? It was one beautifully bright day of April in 2002, I was going to meet Mamu after almost a year. As I entered the premises, (Oh, I forgot to tell, my grandparents had an exquisite apple orchard where even Mamu used to work his way with apple trees and a few of vegetables) I was greeted with mesmerizing beds of blossomed flowers. I saw Mamu working on a daisy plant and ran towards him. Upon seeing me, he had a big smile on his face with his tarred teeth resulting from his usual habit of smoking. I loved that smile and I will never forget it.

Even though two of us met after such a long duration, Mamu had a conversation with me just like I had been there all that time, with him. I believe this is the beauty of great relationships, where time and distance never make people feel like strangers. After a daylong round of chit-chats, I realized that world has changed for me but not for Mamu, of course. He is still there, bringing out his magic tricks out of his magic hat which none bothered to witness. The very next day as I was about to say bye to him, I saw lines of tear drops perched on his eyelids like a silent pool of emotions. We both could not say much and soon I left.

While on the bus to Chandigarh, Mamu was all on my mind. He and I had a long conversation the previous night where majority of the time he remained the orator. Mamu had told me about how frustrated he feels at times. One because he has no companion and two because he never got well with his father (my grandpa who also happens to be a miraculous man but for him I will need to write yet another story). There wasn’t much I could have done to help Mamu at that point of time and pretty soon I was again lost into my world with no thoughts of Mamu in my mind.

It almost took two long years for me to see Mamu again without knowing that it was the last time I was going to see him. Again it was the month of April but the year was different- 2004. After enjoying one week of vacation with my parents, I left to meet my grandparents’ house. I started from my home quite early in the morning.

My most preferred mode of journey used to be walking through a Deodar jungle (which also includes the opening shot site of Piya Basanti Re Song which was quite a big hit album sung by Ustad Sultan Khan and Chitra) few small villages, narrow passages through apple orchards. In April, if you get chance to visit Kotgarh region you will see a lot of green landscapes all around you and one can even find rare kind of mushrooms known by the name of Morchella in English and called ‘Chaeun’ in local dialect. I never found any of Morchella, but Mamu and his elder sister (my mom) were lucky enough to trace them out in terraced lands.

Once again, I was at the most precious place in my life, the place that holds many of my mischiefs and also my learnings about life. There can never be a place like the place where your grandparents’ live. I did not spot my usual companion at the very first sight- I yelled for Mamu, but there was no response. Anyhow, I went to meet the rest in the family. Grandma prepared a delicious lunch for me flavored with her homemade ‘Desi Ghee’. As I enquired about Mamu, Nani (the common Indian name for Granny or Grandma) told me that he remains in a very different mood these days but will soon be seen at his garage.

Hoping to see Mamu and as per the indication of grandma, I went to the Mamu’s garage and sat there on his chair. After about one hour I heard a call from outside- ‘Hey Harsh, so you are here!” It was Mamu as I could recognize his voice even in noisiest of the places. I came out of the garage to see a lean looking man with an overgrown beard and lots of cuts and wounds on his hand. I was surprised and still shocked to believe that it was my Mamu only. He was drunk and hugged me tight. He looked shattered to me and I had no idea that his loneliness and frustration will bring him to such a form.

Later in the day, I saw one of the most shocking incidents of my life. Mamu burnt his garage! The whole of it!! It was too late for me and rest in the family to derive any solution for the problem we saw flaring in front of us. Grandma almost fainted and grandpa looked tense. I ran toward the garage and saw Mamu coming out from the smoke around, in his hands were three little newly born kittens. I suppose they were given birth by their mother in Mamu’s garage only. He placed them on the ground and repeatedly slapped me saying that why I do not see him frequently now. I was in a shock, as I never thought that I meant so much to him or maybe I forget everything as I went with the flow of my life.

It wasn’t because of me that he created all of that macabre scene but maybe as he saw me after so many days, the emotional outburst within him was set loose. It was a nightmare for me and I felt choked to say anything. My eyes felt watery and it was like I lost my vision. Soon I realized that Mamu has walked away from the scene. I could not trace for the way he went and at that moment, I just thought of not following him anymore. I bid a farewell to my grandparents’ who were equally shocked to see their son losing out his mind like that.

What started as a beautiful day of the walk to my grandparent’s house now felt like a horrifying path to me! The apple trees and their branches looked as if ugly claws of witches, the Deodar trees appeared like huge devils as they swung with the wild breeze in the evening time. I reached my bed at home and cried under my quilt. The fire flames haunted me for a long time…

No one today knows where Mamu has gone. My grandparents’ by the grace of God are still enjoying health even in their old age years. I live at Noida, with my beautiful and loving wife Reeaa who reminds me of Mamu at times with her fun activities. She even scolds me sometimes as if I am a kid, but every time she does that I remember Mamu and I love her for doing so.

There are days now, when I get tired of work, enjoy with my friends or just go on an expedition, but I do miss Mamu, my icon for this life. I know he is out there, somewhere, but he do not want anyone to listen to his share of griefs given to him by life. He is possibly combating alone with his loneliness. On certain occasions, I get awake in the middle of the night thinking about him. I wish I would turn back time and spend some more of the time with Mamu. God knows what will be his magic trick the time I meet him!

A word that I say but….”(To my love)”

most beautiful eyes

Every day there is a little bye…

We do it with a smile but of course we feel bad!

Holding each other tight as if we never wish to part

There is a lot we want to say and can’t get the time!

It is hard living like that when you know

There are going to be less of holidays, to recreate!

But time and distance cannot defeat love

That is what I believe in…what I intuit!

So when you close your eyes..I tell you…you will see me there with you…

Because I do say bye to you……… but I never mean it 🙂

What do you wish to become in life?

It's hard being human!

There is this instance that I am recalling today while having thoughts of saying farewell to the year 2014. It was the time when I was in school. During one of lectures by our Principal a question was put forward to all the students of our class by him- “What do you wish to become in life?”

Everyone was coming up with pretty decent answers. Soon we had aspiring doctors, engineers, scientists, astronauts and many other would-be professionals right in that class. I was amazed with many of the answers and few students actually appeared focused and committed to fulfill their dreams. Our dear principal was delighted to listen to all the answers.

Finally it was my turn and the same question was blown at me- “What do you wish to become in life?” I might have sounded like a fool among a batch of learners as I replied to his question, “Sir, I want to become a human!”

 Students laughing in a class

Soon the class was filled with a laughter that presumably missed breaking the window panes. That laughter was not at all bothering to me as I smiled and thought in my mind ‘Well the question was about life and why does people keep confusing life with career? ’ “LIFE IS NOT CAREER”!

As everyone in the class caught up with their breath I could see resting tears of bygone laughter in the corners of their eyes. Even my closest friend in the class who was seated adjacent to me had rosy cheeks with the rush of blood that has came along with the chortle.

Our dear principal, who was still having his ending fits of laughter said, “Look pupils! We have a non-human person among ourselves!” Again there was a laughter but a short one as everyone was already exhausted and could not continue the good exercise any further. Apparently, they all must have thanked me for coming up with that weird answer- “Sir, I want to become a human!” It actually helped them coming out from the solemness they were engrossed in earlier.

There was a pause, a silence in which I got my ‘self’ thinking again “Why would they just laugh at me and not think about this seriously?Come one we need to learn becoming a human! Or if I try improvise my statement ‘We need to become BETTER HUMANS’!

Soon the principal called my name and stated, “My dear boy, will you give us an insight of why you said that?” He added further, “I know you since you were a child and everyone here is aware about your knowledge quotient. There must be some reason why you said so? Please let us all know. We are all ears to you!”

I have always been so talkative and even bagged the title of a ‘Chatterbox’ from one of our teachers at school (mostly what I spoke to others was a result of series of silent thoughts and imaginative impressions that I used to gather and work upon within my mind; but it was a secret that I always kept safe with me)

Anyhow, the way principal gave me the opportunity to express my self as a orator,  I could see some of students in my class holding their heads as if they were trying to say, “Why Sir? He will not stop now till our ears drop!”

It was not the time for me being an introvert of course. If we give a statement then we must have something to support it. That is what most of educated people do! They try to reason everything!

“Wouldn’t life have been easier if Adam and Eve not ate that wicked fruit?”

“Will you say something today son?” The principal as if jolted me from the imaginary scene that I was enjoying at Garden of Eden in the backdrop of my mind.

“Sure Sir! If you allow I will try to reason out and justify my answer. As my fellow friends have given wonderful answers I was too happy to see them answering confidently. I wish all of them best wishes from my side.”

“We know you as our principal, the head of our school. If anyone from outside world comes to our school you are the one who is the first and most important person to meet for them”

“We are committed to behave like good students so as to glorify your role and so are the teachers who keep working hard to make us learn.”

“I may look stupid briefing that all as it is a simple thing and everyone here knows about it willingly or unwillingly. Even the stray dogs that has been adopted by the school might have a sense about it (I said that so as to break the seriousness that has now started surfacing the class).”

I stopped for a moment and then spoke out again, “OFTEN THE SIMPLE THINGS ARE THE ONES THAT WE IGNORE. Life is all about simple things so when I point out that we have you as principal, some tens of teachers and hundreds of students in this school, I wish to say that these are simply roles that we play in our society. There are other roles as well such as a doctor, a scientist, a businessman and so much more.

We often wish to get into these roles and many of us fail to get there. There are people who lose their self-confidence when they can’t fit into some role that their parents, teachers and they themselves desired in life. The one that pains us the most is the EXPECTATIONS THAT WE HAVE FROM US.

At no day under the glow and warmth of Sun, these roles make up for our life. Our life means much more than these simple roles. We are born and taught about how to eat, how to study, how to act, how to earn and so on but we are never given the learning and knowledge of “HOW TO LIVE?” Is that part so minimal?  I believe it is not!

Most of the times we forget while chasing our goals that life is beautiful. We also forget that our conduct and character is more important for this life. We never bother to analyze our words, deeds and actions.

 A Quote by Einstein

This is why people do become something in career but they actually fall short of becoming a human!

Why do we hear so much of negative news coming from everywhere?

Why does a person fear walking on a crowded street? Aren’t we of same species when in crowd? Still we fear? Whom do we fear?

Why people do not trust each other?

Why a son does not look after his parents when they are old? Why does he forget the sacrifice they made to raise him?

Why are little children and women killed around the globe?

Why all of everything negative at rising?

I can think of only one possible answers!

“We as child are expected to follow a path of becoming something but we are never given the knowledge of keeping alive our humanity. As we grow up we become more of man and less of human.

MAN    versus    HUMAN

MAN= Materialistic Aartificial   & unNatural

HUMAN= Happy_Understanding_Merciful_Appreciative _Noble

Soon there was a tintinnabulation, the school closing bell was ringing out loud but none present in the class showed any sign of moment. The principal as well as the students were carefully paying attention to me and I just said, “Happy New Year everyone! This is the last class that we had this year. I wish all you become better humans in the next year.”

Soon everyone shouted with excitement- “Happy New Year!”

The principal too wished everyone a great year ahead! He smiled and patted on my back and left the class in a thoughtful mood!

I wish each one of you who read this post a very Happy New Year 2015! I hope it will be the year in which each one of us will rise to a higher level in life.

Let us be more human and less of man!

Let us all have compassion in our hearts!

Let us have a heart to love those who are ours and even those who are strangers!

Let us believe in humanity more than we believe in religions!

Let us help those who are in need!

Let us not fall prey to all that is negative!

Let us embrace positive thoughts into our lives!

Stay humane while chasing your dreams here

2014 in review for TMS…Thank you all :)

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 5,800 times in 2014. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 5 trips to carry that many people.

Life is all about of what you love…(a story is in there for you!)

One fine day you are born on this beautiful planet and that is the day you start your journey of life. Just take in a simple thought that our very existence here is a testimony of love, the love that was found between two different human beings and the same were later known to us as our parents. Parents love their child and keep giving the little human life with so much of compassion, care, love and affection. Few are not so lucky and they are left to face the world without any parentage and hope. Poor souls who miss growing under warm love of their parents. God find His way through other humans so as to give them a hope, a life…well, He does that most of the times. Still some remain unlucky who seldom experience life of love…Alas!

Today, I am born

With my eyes

I see this world all so nice!

They call me theirs and hold me with love

I do not know them but I do believe their words!

When I am in pain they look so sad

With my giggles they keep up their laughs!

Faces..young and old and many stories that I have been told!

Rain and Sun so very different

Both of them I am here to get!

And like that…

There are so many things

I can see!

With these eyes

I see this world all so nice!!

And you…..?

Soon the child getting nourished with love is also exposed to other emotions some of which remain constructive whereas some other relating to negative as such. A lot of conflict appears to the funny mind that gets confused mostly in adolescent age. Now, that little child, a bit grown-up, cannot trace out where his/her happiness is? Many that hold hard to the feedings of love received by their family and friends stay on constructive path and even figure out their passion and love.

Some get too confused and could no more relate to what they have been told and experienced all through the first phase of their journey of life. These are the ones that need to experience love! Love, as I believe is a ‘secret dimension of life’. It is the part that is independent of all factors as when you love someone or something, you lose the knowledge of time and other known dimensions. I am sure the believers of science would curse me for coming up with this stupid hypotheses: P

I have met people who say they love physical things around them. Let us look into a snippet of conversation that I happened to eavesdrop at while travelling in a bus long time ago.

On a seat of three, there were three different people, sitting in a bus.

Towards the window, sat an elderly man appearing to enjoy a healthy life even in his 80s.

Seated next to him, middle seat of course was middle aged man, looking a bit unhealthy from appearance but wearing quite an expensive clothes….

And I was there on that third seat, a college student at that point of time.

All done with the characterization, let me begin with the conversation:

Old Man: Isn’t that such a lovely day! (as if trying to initiate a talk with the man seated just next to him)

Middle Aged Passenger: (As if with all his sarcasm) What is the use of it if one cannot reach the destination in time! Hey you! Mr. Driver! Can’t you drive a bit fast?

Old Man: What happened son? Are you getting late for somewhere?

Middle Aged Passenger: Sir, I needed to get in time to the city. Had a meeting there and this bus is going to take years to reach there as I suppose.

Old Man: Do not worry son. At least you will be there today and you can always postpone the meeting!

Middle Aged Passenger: (Laughing loudly in an arrogant manner) It’s is not like yours age anymore where people used to delay things and mismanage everything. How I wish I were born then and enjoy doing nothing in time!

Old Man: You are being too judgmental my son! (As Old man uttered these words he looked out from the window. One might have thought that he was enjoying the roadside scenes from a moving bus but to me he appeared like turning pages of his years lived….I do have a tendency to read people philosophically)

Old man looking out of a bus window

Soon the bus stopped. Everyone went outside to get some fresh air and get some snacks for themselves. As I had some snacks with me so I stayed there only. The only person amongst us three on that seat to get outside of the bus was the old person sitting near the window. Meanwhile the middle aged man talked on the phone pleading at one phone call whereas shouting abusively on his tour operator in the next call.

I could see the old man taking a walk in a nearby park to the bus station. I saw him feeding few hungry stray dogs with bread and offerings seeds to the birds around. I really like this old man and was at the same time feeling irritated with the middle aged person who was creating a lot of nuisance with his loud voice for me as well as other passengers seated in the bus.

Anyhow the conductor blew the whistle and the bus again started to continue the rest half of the journey. The old man was prompt to listen to the whistle sound and was soon back at his window seat.

Old Man:   (holding out a food packet to me) Take this son! You must be hungry.

(I took the packet and thanked him. I was surprised why I did so as never before I took food from any stranger in the bus. Maybe it was because I could relate to this old man.)

The Middle Aged Passenger was busy answering to his calls. Soon his mobile signal got low and he disconnected the call he was responding to. To respite of many poor souls who have been hearing his howling voice for more than an hour now, he put his mobile inside his bag!

Old Man: (offering another food packet to the Middle Aged Passenger) Take this my son!

Middle Aged Passenger: No Sir, I am fine. Thank you! (I was happy to see that at least this man had some courtesy of saying a thank you)

Old Man: I insist, please take this! It is a long journey and I suppose you have not eaten anything.

Middle Aged Passenger: (Holding up a rude expression) I told you I do not want it! Why are you irritating me? You Old fool!

Hearing this, someone from behind our seat shouted “People have gone so rude these days”

Old Man: I am sorry son! So sorry to bother you! God bless you

Middle Aged Passenger: (now getting a little placid) Do not say so Sir! In fact I apologize for my behavior!

Old Man: It is okay son! So, if I may ask again and not to offend you in any way…would you like to grab a bite? (he again held the food packer with smiling face towards that Middle Aged Passenger)

I am sure that everyone in the bus was looking towards that Middle Aged Passenger at that point of time. There was so much of silence in there. Even a passenger who has been singing in a low voice from behind paused for a moment.

Middle Aged Passenger: Thank you Sir! (To my surprise and like everyone else’s the bad man in the story took the packet!

Soon both of them got into a larger part of conversation. I would take the conversation between these two of my fellow passengers in the next post.

There was something the Old Man made that Middle Aged Passenger realize that day!

Would you like to know about it?

I suppose each one of you is having a great time while saying bye to year 2014. I wish you all a very Happy New Year with your loved ones. Here is a little video that I saw and want you to see as well. The video has been filmed by a wonderful person named Joe Riquelme, aka YouTube user Joey Trombone, who only graduated from college in 2006, but his iPhone video editing app is so popular that Joe was able to give his parents a super nice Christmas gift!

Story of a Boy who used to See Jesus Coming Every Christmas (Happy Birthday my friend, Jesus!)

HBD Jesus

It’s Christmas time! Ever wondered why every year you feel so much of joy and recreated enthusiasm to celebrate this wonderful day with your loved ones. Or even if you are lone wandering and thinking why there is no companion with you to be a part of this festivity, you still will close eyes as the clock strikes 12 at night. For a moment everyone feels like there is hope. Most of us feel that way! You feel like doing well, express you happiness with smiles and laughter. Parents love to play with their kids and so do the kids love spending time with elder people. Christmas brings everyone together! For a while a believer of hope and faith feels like as if this was a special day. A day when earth rises up to heaven and Almighty fondly caress every soul with his compassion and love.

So Christmas means a lot to everyone in small or big ways. I remember my mother cooking for us mouthwatering dishes on this day. I could never thank her enough for how she taught me humanity before telling me the worldly tactics. I was born as an elder child to a Christian mother and a Hindu father and so I read Geeta in the morning and at night carefully enjoyed studying the Bible. There was so much of commonality in both the Holy Scriptures but I will not start up with any form of comparison in this article. Let us just stick to Christmas.

By now I guess you must have figured out that who plays the role of boy in the story I am going to tell you!

Boy: Mother Merry Christmas!

Mother (while burning her wishes written on paper using a candle): Merry Christmas my child. May God bless you!

Boy: So what did you wish for?

Mother: One must never speak about the wish that had been made.

Boy: Oh! Don’t tell me then.

Mother: Come my child, let us eat.

The day has been over and the boy was resting in his bed. He was feeling warm and had a kind of joy in his heart. There lied on his chest his most loved companion after his mother- his cat! There was something going in the boy’s mind and his thoughts were expressive putting a peaceful smile on his face.

The cool breeze was making everything freeze around. In the ‘light of moon’ two figures (one big and one small were clearly visible on the rooftop!

Boy: (Apparently talking to his cat) You know Duro (that was the name given to the cat when it was found as a stray kitten which was too weak but quite attractive) when you were a kitten, Dad brought you into the house. He was the one who used to hate cats and that day we were all shocked to see him holding you in his hands. I just want to tell you, ‘You really are special buddy!’ Merry Christmas. God bless you!

Duro: (As if holding so many words and expression within its ‘cat-mind’ slowly rubbed his whiskers and right check to the lap of the boy)

Boy: They say when Jesus was born there was this really big star that dazzled like a neatly cut diamond. It was so bright that even moonlight appeared dim in its glow.

(Boy closed his eyes and held his spine straight as if going into a meditative pose)

The Inner Voice of the Boy: It sure feels different on this day.

I know you are loving the sound of wind passing through numerous pine needles and making the trees swing, as if they are dancing in joy.

I know you are imagining people all over the world praying to God, thanking Him and also at the same time spending time with their loved ones. This is not what a human does every day.

I can fully understand the excitement you hold in your little heart. I can perceive the sparkles of passionate heartbeats pouring out from you just like shooting stars in the sky.

I can sense that you love everyone but what you love the most is Him. Isn’t it?

The boy opened his eyes and again the same smile was there on his face.

It was the time he make his wish!

It was the time he knew someone is going to listen him!

It was the time he wanted to see a Jesus like he has known every year!

He closed his eyes again and murmured

A Prayer:

“God I do not want anything from you. There is so much that you have given to me the most important of which are my parents and the loved ones. I know you have some tests ahead for me and I am committed to excel in each one of them.

If ever you feel like I am not doing my part correctly do guide me. Do hold my hand as I will need you all through my journey and even after that.

Slowly tears started rolling from the cheeks of the boy.

I can never imagine what you have gone through Jesus my friend. I do not know you as a God rather a companion. You came to enlighten people with knowledge and they hung you up that way! I can never imagine what you went through.

Even after facing all those atrocities you heal hearts with your divine love and faith. It is so wonderful.

Why I keep feeling you all around me, especially on this day, the day of your birth?

I have even seen you standing in front of my eyes many a times, felt your hands holding mine when I am in trouble.

“If I tell that to a believer of you, maybe he will say that it is just an imagination. You know sometimes humans act strangely. They will say they believe you and they will be the ones who will question you, challenge you and forget you but I will not.”

Even if this is my imagination, I just want to keep imagining like that…because I want to see you coming every Christmas!

Jesus is born

Seeing a good movie always make you feel better. It is just like a perfectly brewed coffee that leaves an aftertaste and open wide the imaginative canvas which is otherwise put close somewhere in our minds.

So this Sunday I watched PK (thanks to my lovely wife Reeaa for taking me to the film), the new happening movie of Bollywood iconic actor Amir Khan and just like his nature he enthralls audiences once again with his brilliant performance. Every actor in the movie has acted well and Rajkumar Hirani proves out why he should be loved and blessed for being there in a role of a Bollywood Director.

Well of course I am not planning to write a movie review over here but I just wanted to thank entire cast and crew of #PKTheFilm that actually has given me yet another inspiration to strike down my fingers on keyboard. I love writing, I seriously do. It gives me a rush, a satisfaction, like no drug can give to a man. Also, I hope that what I am writing actually makes some sense and worthy for those who read it. I would say PK is kind of a film that makes you laugh and self-introspect you at the same time. It is an amazing thing to achieve on celluloid!

As humans, we sometimes do look confused in this world. When we look into different societies and communities, we find, they are separated by so many ideologies and actions.

People living in these little societies seem to be so different and obviously if some extraterrestrial-ET (more decorated world for an alien) comes to this earth, it is going to get in a whole lot of confusion because we do look confused man! 😛

Suppose, just for a while, you have no religion at all, no background, no parents, nothing at all. Now when you see people dressed in the costumes that represent different religions and everyone going to meet God by staying that way, believe me you are going to laugh till you die.

(When you recall the horrific incident of #peshawarkillings (mere mention of which trembles a humble soul) one gets even more confused because a set of people following a particular religion killed the younger generation of their own society) CAN’T BE JUSTIFIED AT ALL!!

Now that is just one side of the coin. After confusion comes yet another word which we call ‘lost’. So if we are confused does that mean we are lost? NO, not necessarily!

There are people living in this world in every society, each community and across all countries of this globe that actually have no time for getting confused. These are people who are working to fulfill a purpose in their lives.

So there ARE people who have these tags with them but they do not take them as tags for fighting a championship rather they join hands to serve humanity, care about nature and finally develop competencies that make them better as humans’ altogether. These people know that they need to get unified and share more of positive thoughts than combatting each other with plethora of IDEOLOGIES THAT ARE NEVER GOING US TO TAKE CLOSER TO GOD.

Getting to God, is a lone journey for everyone.

Just take an example of two siblings going to school. When they return to their home they have an option to fight or join their hands till they reach to their parents. Both will have to make a choice and continue their small journey. Imagine you as a parent of these two little kids. If they come to you, travelling all the way to home fighting and hurting each other;

I may be too minimal to say this but OUR DEAR GOD might share this same feeling when He see that His children are reaching to Him with so much of fight and negativity.

So how can you make things better? I could write another hundreds of words to answer this question but I won’t do that as I have something better to offer you.

Here is this little animated video that I watched sometime back. It simply and beautifully explains how people with differences can do things together. I would just say that do watch the video till the end!
